Unique Preschool Hosts Two Open Houses in January
The University Area Benefits From Piedmont Progressive Preschool
Registration is now open for the 2006-2007 school year at Piedmont Progressive Preschool. Parents of two- to five- year olds interested in 2006-2007 preschool classes are invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 or Monday, January 30, 2006. Both will be held from 9:30 am to 11 am at the preschool. Parents will be able to see the students and teachers in action as well as register for the upcoming school year. Piedmont Progressive Preschool is a unique program in the University area that offers children the opportunity to learn and explore the world around them in a safe, supportive, and open environment. The school’s philosophy is child-centered and play-based with an emphasis on nature and the arts. They believe that children this age learn best through discovery learning experiences.
The preschool is located at 9704 Mallard Creek Road (across from Mallard Creek Elementary) in the Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church building and is non-sectarian. ###
